- What is paintball? Paintball is an exciting action-adventure game promoting team building and skills. The object of the game is to eliminate the opposing team by marking them with a splat of paint.
- Are paintballs harmful? The shell of a paintball is made of thin gelatin, and the filling is made of non-toxic, water-soluble vegetable based dye. All ingredients are biodegradable and can be easily removed with warm soapy water. Paintballs are very similar to a large bath oil bead.
- What do paintball guns use to shoot the ball? Paintball guns CO2, Nitrogen, or high air pressure, all of which is very safe for people to use.
- What should a first time player wear? Special clothing is not required. You should wear comfortable shoes, old cloths, jeans, sweat pants, etc.
- What safety equipment do I need? We will provide you with a face mask with your rental gear. If you own any suitable equipment such as knee pads, groin guards, or gloves, etc. you are more than welcome to use them. Women may want to consider wearing chest protection, fingerless gloves and padded vests.
- What is Co2, Nitrogen and Compressed Air? Co2, Nitrogen and Compressed Air are propellant gasses that paintball markers use to shoot a paintball. All do basically the same thing, just in different forms.
- Does it hurt to be hit by a paintball? A paintball can bruise skin, and there is always a risk of a more severe injury. Safety is our number one concern. All players are required to wear a full safety mask, firmly attached to their face at all times. We strictly enforce this safety rule.
- How old do I have to be to play paintball? Players must be at least 10 years old, and a safety mask must be able to fit securely. All minors under 18 must have a release of liability form signed by their parent or guardian.
- Are there referees? Referees on the field start and stop games, enforce the rules of play and control the sport's safety.
